Kimberly High School Information Technology


The Kimberly High School Information Technology program under the direction of Mike Huttanus and Johnathen Lund offers a wide variety of options in the field. Students may learn computer maintenance, web design, HTML programming, media applications, and networking. Some of the industry certificates they can earn include Cisco, A+, Net+, Adobe, HTML and MicroSoft Office. They also can earn Tech Prep and/or Dual Credits from the College of Southern Idaho as well as interning for the Kimberly School District.

Mike is a long-time teacher who also has a variety of industry experiences. He received his education from Idaho State University and serves as the district’s technical director as well. Johnathen is a graduate of Western Governor’s University as well as having industry experience. He begin working in the IT department at Kimberly and now teaches technology classes, such as web design and software development at the high school level.
